this is torture. I actually have never heard of dancing of the bears, and this is quite honestly, a bit shocking. I find it as a useless way of these people to show off a prize of some sort. These bears do not need this kind of treatment, nor do they ever deserve it. These bears are beautiful, and if you were to look deep down in their eyes, they are crying for help.

rewarding good behavior is what it's all about, even in something as seemingly lowly as bear dancing. Bears are intelligent animals, capable of learning some new tricks. Start off small with some basic move sets, getting the bear to do the task allocated to it by teasing it with a piece of food, thus motivating the animal to do it. Feed it as soon as it completes its allocated task. Rinse & repeat. Maintain a calm & focused mindset and you won't have to resort to cruelty and abuse.

they're really beautiful animals, it's horrible... and for all of you out there saying that you're vegan and that if someone isn't a vegan then they're so much worse, most animals who are killed for their meat aren't strung up and danced around in front of tourists. And I'm not saying we don't do shit like that in america; I know how some livestock are treated, and it's still awful.
