Very welldone on the video and your times guys, i did 9'20 on my first marmotte!! i had a bad 3inch tear in my rear tyre decending col du glandon (luckily no bang! ouch!) & two french riders guided me to a cycle shop giving me a FREE TYRE!! VIVA-LA-FRANCE!!!!!

I was there also, I did it in 8h 04'.
27 minutes better than in 2008, my goal was to do it under the 8 hours, but the heatness on Alpe d'Huez was killing me!

Well done, great time. I had hoped to be a few minutes better, but like you, the heat on Alpe d'Huez turned it into survival on the climb. My goal for my eighth Marmotte next year is under the eight hours. I don't think I'll get near the 7:41 that I did in 2002, but under the eight hours would be good.
