@sambda I bought mine in a record shop in Ohio. My 45 has X Offender and In the Sun. I have some funny 45s, such as Talking Heads with Love Goes to a Building on Fire on both sides! No b side! Very amusing.

@bobo007xx-I'd take your word for it but no one can agree on what "punk" means. If it means (a) being part of the NYC underground rock scene, they were. If it means (b) playing music that is relatively short and uptempo without stylistic flourishes they were. If it means (c) approaching music in a pop art manner, yes again. If it means (d) the expression of anger/frustration, then they weren't. I tend to think that a-c are important, but the last is how the music is often defined.

@HYPERJOHNBASS Yup, it's "Surf's Up," and the chorus is "Watch your parking meter, watch" cuz they'd had a problem with parking tickets somewhere. I got this 45 right when it came out, with X OFFENDER. I like how the 45 version differs from the excellent first album version. I like the 45 better. Mine's for sale but you gotta come to Paris and get it, hee hee hee!

@slobomotion The first Blondie 45 (on Private Stock) is a mis-mash of 3 tracks - "X Offender", "In The Flesh" and "In The Sun". Which combination of 2 you got depends on the territory! "X Offender" and "In The Sun" are in different versions from the album on these releases.
