I Believe is a single by Blessid Union of Souls from their 1995 album Home. It is one of the most popular songs by the band. According to the "I Believe Story" from Blessid Union of Souls's album Almost Acoustic (Volume 1), the song was written by Eliot Sloan "at about three in the morning" when he "thought of the main piano sample used in the song" and "played it on the piano his mother got him when he was nine years old."
