@Ferrariman601 This reminds me of the Flopnik(Vanguard) disaster on Dec 6,1957, and the Vanguard is one of the most unreliable launchers ever built!

Every rocket has had it's bad days. But the Soyuz has a 97% success rate, making it the most reliable (and commonly used) space launch rocket in the world.

@MrPinwheel123 I was actually not planning the explosion. This was supposed to be a nominal launch of a Progress spacecraft. I'm not sure what happened, but something on the first stage went wrong and blew the whole stack.
