The boys from RUSH are just about the only guys that I know that went against the grain; doing ONLY what THEY wanted, How they wanted and were eventually successful. Years/Tours & vice-versa. Guess Pantera did it too yrs later. Still Rush were the Godfathers..especially of what is now Progressive Metal! Lerxst/Dirk/Pratt! \m/ \m/ \m/

this is superb I've loved Rush for years and it's really good to se so many people out there immitating them thank you for keeping their music alive !!! All the (tongue in cheek) artists today should take a page from bands like rush's books and start writting their own stuff !!! And making classics like this !!!

He does that on purpose... and its apparently hard to do cause he can't do it too much anymore. He makes thier songs sound very unique by doing that. Listen to "Armor and Sword" from their latest album Snakes and Arrows.
