Afghanistan, which has long produced about 90 per cent of the world's opium, had an estimated yield of 3,600 tonnes of opium this year (2010). 1 tonne = 1000kg, 3600 tonnes=3 600 000kg, the price of a pure kilo of heroin in usa=more than 295k(minus the 5k they paid for in afgan) The profit they can make only in 2010=3 600 000x295 000=1062000000000$= 1062 billions of dollars, fuck this shit is real man lol

this MOXNEWS guy is a complete nut. This video title is misleading, not once do they mention that they help them grow the poppies. In fact it clearly states in the video that they are not after the farmers they are after the traffickers. The simple fact of the matter is that Afghanistan's #1 cash cow is the opium trade. but the thing is IT'S COMPLETELY LEGAL FOR THEM TO GROW IT. For them its like tabacco is for us. They don't revere it as an illegal narcotic.

This is fucking bullshit. When the Taliban had its strong hold on Afghanistan opium production was at a record low, and as soon as we took control production went back up to record levels. Corporate military banking off the war or terror. this whole war was bullshit, just an excuse to go get free oil and get heroin going again. the government does bank off illegal drug trade. and if were all addicted to heroin it makes it that much easier for them to gain total control. fuck them
