This song is the most repetitive, annoying, mind-numbing song I have ever heard. And for that, I love it. It's like the monkey cave in Earthbound. Annoying, yet so awesome.

if I am ever around a computer when I find some idiot who has never played SOM before, I will find this song on youtube or something, play it and say "listen. In secret of mana you walk around and a bunch of shrooms are dancing hard to this beat, but they will talk to you if you want to talk.
