When Farkas buys a robot to help him get rid of the musicians of Faffner Hall on Make a New Sound Day, the gang borrows some parts from the robot to construct a synthesizer so they can make all kinds of new sounds. Fughetta doesn't understand how a synthesizer works so the Wild Impressario turns to his best source, Thomas Dolby, to explain it to her.

This was from a Henson music education series of 13 episodes in 1989 called The Ghost Of Faffner Hall. Most of it was shot at Tyne Tees Television in Newcastle, UK. A few other guest musician segments were shot close to London, LA and New York. I performed the fly Muppet in this segment and Riff, the red haired Muppet. Hope that clears it up. Great to see these bits again after so long!

Of course he is known for two famous songs "She Blinded me with Science" and "Hyperactive" but ALL his music is awesome. I have every piece of music he published. I believe his music may not be understood by all, it tends to be on the brainy or intellectual side. I just attended a concert he did here in Vancouver April 10th. Just he and two other musicians. It was superb!!! He is a masterful entertainer indeed.

He is a very diverse individual which is why he ventured out into other areas.

Great stuff Henson people. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take the time to update the automatic captions. Google have done most of the work, it's REALLY EASY! That will be great for language instructors! THANKS! ♪

over here? where's "here?" I suppose ignorance IS bliss. :P

Mr Dolby has 'done' a great deal in fact. For starters, that cell phone you take for granted ringing your favorite Bay City Rollers tune, has technology that his company "Beatnik" invented. As well as doing session work for other artists, he was deeply involved in film and game soundtracks not to mention a few acting parts. He's been the musical director of the TED conferences since 2001. He's done a lot more than you realize,
