162 mph run on an 2004 GSXR 600

A 162 mph (Speedohealer corrected) speed run. The bike is a 2004 Suzuki GSXR600 with Yoshi RS-3, GIPro/ATRE. Wear your gear! The camera is a HDDV-8800 from eBay. Same bike hit 170mph (indicated) on the same bike with no further mods BEFORE the speedohealer, but did not have a camera to capture it.

i hit 163 on my 04 gsxr600 on a 3 lane freeway around 3 in the morning,held it there for about 10-15 seconds...the freeway is like a race track at 3am...very few vehicles so u can just go crazy!

your bike like my bike if this is with out a speedo healer then its really about 145-155 that you did. Those that have done 178 on incline straight roads thats about 160 give or take and its limited to 186 with out limiter removed on all U.S. suzuki street bikes.turbo it and you may get into limiter range still about 170 with out speedo healer

First off, this road was not closed, apparent because of the minivan driving on the same road. Secondly, 162mph on stock GSXR = 145 real mph. The Speedometers always read 10% high. I have one. If you don't trust me, find one of the speed signs that reads your speed by radar and drive 50MPH by it. It will say you are at 45 when your speedo says 50. If not, then this was an accurate video and I am wrong.
