There's nothing really funny about it. It was never about CM Punk in either situation - it was about Edge losing it, and Hardy losing it. People cheered because they love to hate Edge. People jeered because Hardy is the fan favorite. Punk is an awesome heel. Hardy is an awesome performer. Edge is just awesome. End of story.

i find it so funny that when cm punk cashed in on edge everyone loved it but when its jeff no one does i LOVED the fact that cm punk is now a HEEL just what wwe needed
