Serve to eclipse the days of my prime.

(The worst is over, all that is left is bliss),
An idol of ages, exhaluted above,
(You'll never feel such pain again).

I, can't see which that is real,
Blind to the present, blind to the past,
Darkness: the only thing that will last,
I, can't fight this crushing tide,
Jaded and bitter, just a slave to time,
In the Book of Aeons I am just a line.

Left beaten, battered and scarred,
My memories are tainted and marred,
Warped by time's twisted design,
Though my thoughts are now starting to align.

Emerge from the ash as a god,
I've given my world for this spot,
Now I can see you on your knees,
Crawling through time's sickening disease.

Our chapter is over, never to be read again,
And I couldn't be happier, that it's come to an end.

very good instrumentals, screaming was good too, clean's were ok. could you upload a version w/ out vocals? I think your instrumentals should stand out more. otherwise nice!

@dj3ntz Thank you very much for the kind words. Unfortunately the mix was done on Pro Tools and I don't have Pro Tools here so I can't get a version without the vocals. Won't be back on that system until September I'm afraid. Either way, very glad you enjoyed the track. Means a lot.
