To try to influence the actions of (public officials, especially legislators).
What is being used to influence public officials? Money.

@davidkendall What do you propose should be done? Do you believe money should be able to overpower the people? It's fine and dandy to have people complain that demonstrations do nothing. What other recourse do we have? I think it's worse to do nothing.

When did all of this happen, Thom? Governor Scott Walker might be on his way out. But even that still remains to be seen. Your claims seem unfounded. In fact, exactly the opposite seems true.

Not very far into this vid, but who the F cares if ABC airs an uncorroborated interview right before the election? People can assess the interview and make their own decision. Also, how the hell could this ever be "corroborated."
