Haiti doesn't think so. Having been a Kiva lender for quite some time now, I think President Clinton's involvement - even peripherally, as a supporter, and to explain how, and encourage people to, feel empowered by helping, and make others feel empowered by helping them to help THEMSELVES, without being patronized - is a great boost to the concept and everyday reality of Kiva. Kiva changes lives - for real.
