garyhelsinger: you don't know what the hell you're talking about! First, there were many commercials, the first in black & white, the rest after that in color. Second, Quake had a honey taste and was crunchier, which was my favorite of all time. Quisp was a lighter version of Capn Crunch.
PEOPLE...Quake was only a PROMOTIONAL Cereal intended to create a fake rivalry to drum up sales. Quisp was the real cereal and after a couple of years they discontinued Quake as planned (and yes, it was the same exact flavor)
Also, this is NOT a b/w commercial...this is someone who filmed the commercial off of a b/w TV! The commercial was ALWAYS in color!!
I was a Quake fan as a kid I was sad when Quake lost. To my surprise my local grocery store has Quisp cereal on the shelf for about $3.50 a box,I had to buy one Thanks for posting,it brings back good memories of being a kid in the 60's

You can still buy Quisp online at the Quisp website.
