The Lord Jesus is still high and his throne doesn't deminish or dependent on music or the absent of it. @litiah I love the lyrics of this song, but the style is foreign to most young people today. Listening to a certain style of musical worship does not show how deep your relationship is. That is a very dangerous statement, verging on self-righteousness and potentially an expression of pride.

Oh! to have this type of worship and types of songs in the church today. Our young people need to be exposed to such in order to help them develop a close relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Being saved as a teenager 23 years ago, this was the type of music we were exposed to. By the way, I appreciate if the song My Refuge, led by Kent Henry, on Hossana Muisc, could be added. Thanks.

Kent has been friends with another guitarist, Randy Rothwell, since 1976, since they were both in college. Well, one was touring at the time and the other was still in school, bussing tables, while making a living to make a commitment with Jesus. Years later, Kent has decided to remake the version that Randy had once did, and he was very grateful!
