"Silly Love Songs" is a song written by Paul and Linda McCartney and performed by Wings. The song was released as a single and included on the album Wings at the Speed of Sound in 1976. The US single was released on 1 April 1976 and reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100. The UK single was released on 30 April 1976 and reached number two on the UK Singles Chart. The single was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America for sales of over one million copies.

McCartney had often been teased by music critics as well as former Beatle and friend John Lennon for writing lightweight songs and he wrote this number in response.

Linda McCartney and Denny Laine are heard chanting "I Love You" during the bridge.

Not unlike "Goodnight Tonight", another of McCartney's singles from the era, the instrumentation in 'Silly Love Songs' features a distinct disco flavor. Both 'Silly Love Songs' and 'Goodnight Tonight' appear again on McCartney's second greatest hits compilation, All the Best!.

In 2005, the song was sampled in Jenn Cuneta's Come Rain, Come Shine.

In 2008, the song was listed at number 31 on Billboard's Greatest Songs of All Time, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Dir Sir Paul, back again, had surgery and lived through it, awaiting more results, they are hoping I am cancer free. It looks like I have some critics and though they may not think I believe in God they are wrong, I always pray and look he made you and I simply think you are amazing and I know you know how cancer works and you simply shaped my life, always, you and John, Ringo and George, always have loved you, will to the day I die, Michele.
