@zadeh79 Because after being tied by the ankle to a tree via a wire cable for almost 2 months being raped, drugged, abused & terrorized several times every day & threatened with death & the deaths of her family if she ever tried anything, she was obviously too terrified of her kidnapper do try anything that she felt might get her & her family killed. She was 14 going on 11, very naive & sheltered, & not a street-smart girl.

Polygamy & bigamy are illegal in the US & Elizabeth was too young to consent to marriage. This young woman has so much dignity and carries herself with grace far beyond her years and definitely far beyond her horrifying experience. My respect for her is immense. I hope and pray for every happiness for her in future.
