thats not an 8 pound peacock on the left. maybe both of them together were 8 pounds. but not the one on the left.

you'll find peacock and largemouth in almost every lake. you'll see alot of small peacock especially, but a lot of big peacock you'll sea are usually butterfly variant peacock bass, somewhat like the ones in this vid. if your lucky, you'll see some big peacock near shore. I was fishing with a small minnow grub and there was two peacock, one about 1.5 ft long and another about 9 inches long. all i had to do was toss the grub in front of them a few times and he hit it and i hooked him.
