The Drones were a punk rock band from Manchester, England. This track is off their 'Further Temptations' LP released on Valer Records in 1977. "Bonafide DIY three-chord wonders, the Drones were there at punk's inception."
The LP doesn't really show the greatness of the Drones.Temptations of a White Collar Worker was there first venture into a studio and like a lot of that era bands there was a loss between the first and second record.Drones had a cut on Electric Circus,a Manchester live comp."Persecution Complex" but there's nothing like "Lookalikes" off the first 7".
Chris Combat had the album and TAPED it for me. Top stuff!

Impossible d'être PUNK, et de ne pas connaître THE DRONES, le seul album qui restera de cette période (que j'ai vécu à fond).
