@TGRevelations Well actually we have sung in Carnegie Hall probably over 20 times now. While I was in middle school and high school with this choir teacher, I sang there a total of 8 times within 6 years. It's not a disgrace- you're the disgrace.

@bemylovepenguin The conductor does very well with how he ends the phrases musically but I do agree that the break between each line is way too long. He is also very harsh with the endings in some places and with emphasizing the syllables for words. I understand that students need to learn to articulate their words and emphasize consonants but not in a song that is supposed to carry as much emotion as this one does

@emorygal it's really not to fast, its just not fluid, and the conductor rests too long its not supposed to be a huge break between each line like that.

the women and men are flat and just a tad under pitch on some parts. but otherwise its descent!

its just some of the notes in the boys section, but this was great! ill be conducting this piece with a highschool in the spring, so excited!!!

I graduated from high school in 'o6 and I sang in Nutley choirs from 7th grade through 12th grade. It was the best experience ever! So much so, that I am youtubing them while working on finals! I performed in Carnegie Hall seven times, got to go to Hawaii, Disney World, Ohio, and various other places with all of my best friends! Why anyone would say something nasty about a high school choir is just mean and weird. Get a life lol
