Sad that Mr. Treadwell didn't understand boundaries with wild animals..they are not pets nor his friend and when people blurr those differences disaster happens...I will remember him as creating awesome pics of the natural wild and the bears he loved...

Please dont misread my below post that I think Tim T. got what he deserved...but when one produces a fantasy world that is not true..the outcome is always ugly when real TRUTH hits them...I believe Tim became more obcessed with himself and his fantasy and lost sight of truth and reality..that was his biggest problem. Sadly false ideas can lead to death for even more than ones' self.

When anyone looses sight that "wild animals" are JUST that; they loose respect for the dangerous/natural world. Bears are not our friend or pets and Tim T. misjudged and constantly took risks for a long time that it was only time where natures animals would take him. He placed his camp in the most dangerous area of bears..against park rules and risked his life and his girlfriends..sadly his ego and ignorance got both him and his girl friend killed. If you love wild animals..leave them alone.

No it isn't. When a prof race pilot dies in an accident, it is called a "freak accident" for a reason. Yes the chances are there that you may die. But hanging out with grizzly bears your chances of dying are much much much higher. When a prof race driver dies it is sad because it is cool thing to do and it is understandable why someone would do it and the chances are pretty low that you will die. Hanging out with bears is just looney/crazy/stupid, and of course weird.

That stupid "oooo yip" sound the vocalist makes during the song makes me want to take the guitar and stuff it straight up his ass. Completely ruined the song. Maybe thats supposed to be the sound treadwell made while he was being eaten by the big nice furry bear.

I agree with both sides. He often talked about getting munched by these guys but he died doing what he loved to do. He knew what he was doing was risky. You could tell how nervous he was when things got creepy, but I still think playing with dangerous wild animals is not a good idea. I would never have taken that chick up there though. That was crazy. Personally I think we should simply leave the bears alone.

Treadwell... the dumbest so called "nature activist" Ive ever heard of. What a complete friggen moron! It was inevitable that he became bear food. Im just surprised that it didnt happen much sooner than it did. His stupid girlfriend must have been just as dumb to hang out with such a douche bag. At least she fed the bear too... stupid bitch. The only sad part is that it didnt also happen to Michael Jackson the perverted pedophile. Im so glad that both of those odiots got what they deserved.

Way to go Timmy. His response to the bear that killed him days before when the bear walked toward him, "No Grinch! It's ok! I love you! I love you! I love you!" (Uh huh. Like bears understand baby-talk.) What a complete IDIOT! He got himself, a girl he told would be safe with him, and two bears killed. I can't even imagine the pain and HORROR that girl went through being eaten alive.....and some of you are here praising him! Pathetic. Do you think that girl was happy while she was dying?

Tim was killed by an older bear in a period food was hard to find, why only talk about the accident, the relationship with the other bears doesn't mean anything to you? It's like a prof race pilot, they can drive a car very fast, but sometimes it also goes wrong for them.
