No doubt Pt. Ji is the only one that took V. khan Saheb musicality to a higher level.
though his musicality is really clasical his depth is understood by few.
the other two contestants shahid ji and Shujat ji are very original musicians
but i don'tthink they carry the torch of the gharana the way Pt. ji does!
and nobody can touch his superior meands ,knowledge and tone!!!!!

I agree that he is wonderful, and that he has grown greatly over the years. He is a passionate powerful player, but I still am also a big fan of of khansahibs Shahid Parvez and Shujaat Khan!
