From "Hey Baby", to the Peanuts Song, to "Everybody's Working for the Weekend" rare musical footage of "Streetheart," one of the hottest cover bands in Pittsburgh PA in the mid-1980's, playing bars like Al's Cafe, Someplace Else, The Pancake House, Sunken Cork, and more. The band members included Jeff Jimerson (lead vocals and bass), Mark Kohn (keyboards), Max Stalter (lead vocals and guitar) and Jimmy Hindman (lead guitar). This is a sampling of thier song list from around 1986.

  • We never missed them at Al's Cafe back in the day. I have about 2 hours of audio but not the songs you mentioned below, but i do remember them very well.

  • Awesome music, guys, but where's the video???

  • I stumbled across this audio tape when i was cleaning out some drawers. I am not aware of any video tape, maybe the boys in the band would know. I am guessing this was recorded sometime in the mid-1980s.

  • Anyone remember Streetheart?

We are all alive and well, and will soon have a few more songe to upload.

They certainly were good times :)

  • Some friends and I followed them around to places like Al's Cafe, Foggy Bottom, Winner's Circle and Pizzaz...

  • I have been searching for Streetheart on youtube for years. Thanks for putting this on here. Brought back many many good memories. Me and my friends from West Newton used to follow this band almost every weekend in the early 80's. We saw them at Al's Cafe, mostly at a club called "Someplace Else" and occasionally in Greensburg. They always played "I wear my sunglasses at night" and a song by Steely Dan called "Bodhisattva" that was great. I remember the keyboard player being fantastic.
