I was almost ready to jump up in excitement when I pulled off 100% on the first solo. I'm not really sure how I pulled it off, but I'm glad I filmed it. Definitely a huge improvement from my last video. My score would have been so much higher, if I had stopped making a lot of stupid mistakes throughout the song.

So I finally have them, my long awaited Ions. They are way better than stock Rock Band drums by far. Once I got used to them they have been improving my scores. I plan on buying a third cymbal soon, so I can get the full Ion experience.

Being the Ions are much larger, and I have little room to work with for camera angles, I had to make the chart smaller so it didn't block too much of the drums. If you watch it in HD, it will be easier to see, and obviously higher quality.

The audio is a little shaky in this video. My capture device was being stupid. So the audio switches channels every now and then.

@TylerHausen then why waste time on Rock band vids it discuss me to find out you have no real inspiration to learn how to play the drum besides a video game Rock Band can't teach you passion or how to touch a soul with your music. Music is more than that its a gateway to freedom its just kinda sad. Hopefully you realize that and stop practicing on how to get a perfect score on a game and practice the basic and devolope a skill.

@jej495 You fucking idiot, there is no right or wrong way to become interested in musical instruments. Playing drums is one of my favorite hobbies, and I play with just as much soul as any other drummer. Rock Band was the catalyst that started it. I haven't played Rock Band drums in months, I've only been drumming exclusively. Whatever Rock Band didn't teach me, I picked up myself and I fucking enjoyed every minute of it. I practice almost 2 hours a day every day on drums... without Rock Band.

@TylerHausen And regardless, Rock Band is a fun game and I will continue to play it. The logic you're using is terrible. It's like telling someone playing Call of Duty to stop playing, and go out and actually fight in a war. It's just a video game. Except I actually obtained tangible skills.

I can play that song on real drums and it is fun as hell. Scott Travis is a beast and can beat that double bass like a bitch.I don't see the point of rock band.

@vabby242526 The point of Rock Band is just to have fun. Besides, you can roughly translate RB charts to a real drum kit (such as the one on this video) and sound pretty damn close to the real thing.
