A tribute video commemorating the life and career of long-time Vancouver Canucks forward Rick Rypien, who was found dead in his home on August 15, 2011 just a month after having signed a deal with the Winnipeg Jets. Rest in peace, Rick.

  • R.I.P, Rick. Hometown hero. You inspired a whole generation for the Crowsnest Pass. You live in the hearts with your friends and family around the community. Glad to have grown up knowing that no matter how small of a town you grow up in, people can make it out if they have the will to do so. Sad to see such a young guy go so young. You have a great family and friends that loved you, you're one of the main reasons why I'm a Canucks fan, I will never forget playing pond hockey. Take care bud
