Dog Park

Monty loves to go to the new dog park in town! Monty is the Landseer Newfoundland (big black and white dog). Carly is the Airedale Terrier (brown and black). The black shaggy dog is Marley, a Newfoundland/Lab mix. Komma is the Bernese Mountain Dog puppy.

Hi, I am so excited to find your dog, Monty. I wrote a book last winter that has a 10 yr old boy and a shaggy brown and white dog as the main characters. In my mind I had this picture of your dog. I wanted to find a photo so that I could draw and paint the illustrations the way I saw them in my mind, but I have looked and looked over hundreds of shaggy b&w dogs to no avail, until now. He is perfect!! You are a fortunate person to have a companion like him. Have fun and God Bless!

God I wish I could have a Landseer. Don't think I can stand their drool. Lovely one you got there though.

@SwiftRyder2 Thank you! Not all Newfies drool, actually. It seems to depend on the size of their jowls. I had one before Monty who didn't drool at all.

I love Newfoundlands. Carly the Airedale terrier looks so sweet and happy. I never mind it when dogs jump up at me to say hi, I find it flattering actually.
