@5KellyChan5 very true!!

It's really sad how racist this short is, it takes away from the beauty. But I can take comfort in how things are very different now, with equal rights, and that racism isn't acceptable like it used to be.

but they had another black centaur afterwards with white hair...

this is quite sad. it rlly suks that this was done during a time of racism. but i guess there's nothing we can rlly do about it.
-
@MissGirlMisa im sorry about that but in the re-mastered/re-done(edited) version of fantasia they take that part out thou ^^
-
0:33 racism: it exists even in disney... that's sad :(

@GiveMeFreeFood There were beautiful African zebras. I'm not excusing the fact that there was a little black servant at all, but the beautiful African centaurs were there too. I'm half black, and I'm offended but what can we do?

@whiteoutlol def. especially considering this is for children and how impressionable they are. I mean i remember in kindergarden/preschool trying to make a girl stand in the boys like because she had a pixi haircut...but all the princesses had long hair so i thought all real girls did too...8/ (p.s. i just shared that to make the point of how impressionable kids are...if you wondering)

hmm on top of the little black centaur did you notice all the centaurs ended matching up according to color?

I read a qoute said by a seven year old girl" It doesent matter if we have differnt coulour of the skin as long as we have the same coulour in our hearts"

This movie was animated well before Equal rights unfortunately. When Everything started to get PC Disney scrapped this character and denyed her exsitance. I realy hate seeing this kind of thing - theres just no excuse for it. I think they should have included her in with the rest of the girls but not as a servant. It would have been nice to see a pretty black girl in there.
