Star Ocean 3: Succubus (4D)

I'd figured out how to keep the sound from going out of sync before, but for some reason, all the settings on VDub mystically reset themselves, hence the sound going out of sync in this vid. Now I've got to play with it again and figure out what I'd set it on before.

Anyways, yeah, this strategy's basically the same as for Luther, since she loves to counter everything with minor attacks just like him. It's a good thing, too, since she's a pain in the ass, otherwise.

Now that I think about it, I don't think I brought Peppy close enough to Maria for her to recieve PD's boost. At least, it doesn't seem like Maria's doing the damage she should be doing with Power Up, Power Dance, and Angel Feather all on at the same time.

She ignores Thunder Flare stunlocking almost completely (she basically just counters every single hit), so that's not cheap at all. The cheap part is the AAA bait. xD

She learns it from a tome found in Sphere 211.

The skill summons some small drones that fly around Maria, and they all attack whenever she uses a normal attack. They last longer as you level up the skill.

The damage is pretty good and they're very safe to use, especially when you use Maria's sidestep shot.

@crushingsnow Either way, the Sacred Ether's only real use is for synthing +1000 ATK factors to other weapons. You can get max INT for Sophia with 3 +1000 INT & 4 +30% INT factors. For Adray, it's 4 +1000 INT and 3 +30% INT factors. The later can be done on anything, even Laser Weapons.

@crushingsnow On a side note, you can't get Sacred Ether until you beat Freya, anyway, so there's no way he could possibly have it for this fight.

@crushingsnow The Sacred Ether's kinda pointless, since it has a +1000 ATK factor on it. It's better to use the Adept Staff with 3 +1000 INT factors (refined Dark Crystals) and 4 +30% INT (2 refined Bangle of Intellects). I pretty much finish up the last factor with either -3 Fury use or +6% MP Recovery.
