  • turn off the metronome!!!

  • when is your guys parents night this year?

  • @sk8rj4ck jack, i love your username... this is adam

  • Hey, just saying, pulling this performance off is HARD every time we do it!!! Soooo many people, all trying to step perfectly and play each note perfectly! I thought we did pretty good by beating Irondale at Marshall (:

  • I have to agree that Lincoln is a very good marching band but still, it does have it's advantages and disadvantages to having so many people. Good job at Marshall anyways.

  • @Mxer2a No one "simply wins." Actually, Lincoln has been a bit smaller each of the last two years, and the drill has been getting more complex. And they've been executing better. Last year, they won the Des Moines show over Irondale, largely on the strength of beating them in visual quite convincingly. That is remarkable for a band of about 250 to beat a band of around 120 in marching, especially one of Irondale's caliber.

  • @Reranangel06 From what I have heard from people in the band and simply watching it Lincoln struggles to even stay in step from the performances I have seen . Which is understandable having such a great amount of people, however. Lincoln simply wins because with so many people the drill writer can make such a awesome show it's easy to make this band look good. Just saying.

  • @Mxer2a No, any band can be LOUD with 300 people, but it's very hard to get 300 kids, ages 14-18 to have that sort of commitment and have that sort of consistency year after year. Being a former member of this band, I know how hard it was dealing with so many people, and making sure each one is accountable for every step, every note. It's not easy, and all the directors, techs and coaches really have their work cut out for them, but they do an amazing job, every year. They really are amazing

Has to disagree with this comment, sorry. Any band could be good with 300 people, just saying.

  • Best band around! Great show, thanks for posting ;)
