-3 monthes later-

Shane: *making out with Mitchie on his bed*
Mitchie: *trying to return the kiss**pulls away, out of breathe*
Shane: *kisses down her neck**finds her sweet spot and bites down gently*
Mitchie: *gasps/slightly moans*
Shane: *smirks against her neck**once he had her marked he moved back to her lips*
Mitchie: *decides he’s had enough fun**pushes him off strighting her shirt as she sits up**gingerly rubs her new hickey*
Shane: *groans in frustration**she could be such a tease**he flopped down and sprawled out, breathing heavily*
Mitchie: *lies back next to him*
Shane: *wraps an arm aruond her**catches his breath and sighs in contentment*
Mitchie: *closes her eyes comfortable in his warm embrace*
Shane: *smiles down at her**kisses her forehead gently*
Mitchie: *looks up with a happy grin on her face* hey…
Shane: *chuckles* hey yourself.
Mitchie: *lays her head on his chest listening to his heart beat**alowly starts to fall asleep*
Shane: *running his hand through her hair*
Mitchie: *sound asleep*
Shane: *adjusts her so he can be more comfortable**he curled her into his side*
-15 miuntes later-
Shane: *silently creeping out of the room*
Elivs: *slips into the room**jumps up on the bed and curls up next to Mitchie*
Mitchie: *turns over and instinteively cuddles him*
Shane: *closes the door and walks down stairs* *sees Nate* Nate, your dog is trying to steal my girlfriend. Get him a girl dog will you?
Nate: no!
Jason: stop arguing.
Nate: no! You know what Shane if your so upset about it go get your own dog!
Shane: it’s your stupid dog!
Nate: it’s a dog it’s not like he can leave a hickey on her or anything! He just wants a friend!
Shane: ever hear of leg humping!?
Nate: he’s fixed!*stands up and pushes Shane’s chest* I am sick of everything having to be about you and what you want!
Shane: *pushes back* I am sick of your attitude when I ask for something!
Nate/Shane: *glaring each other down*
Caitlyn: *comes in with tears running down her cheeks*guys…
*instently all attention is on Caitlyn*
Caitlyn: *quietly* my grandpa just died
Boys instently feel bad *both go to hug her*
Mitchie: *stumbles down* *sees Caitlyn crying**instently knows what happened since Caitlyn told her about how sick her grandpa had been* *rushes down and hugs her*
Caitlyn: *clings to her friends for all they are worth**cries her heart out* why did he have to go!
Nate: *hugs her tighter*

-a week later-

Caitlyn: *walks into the house in black*
Everyone else: *dressed similarly and trail behind her*
The funeral had just taken place. Her grandpa had left her a good chunk of his fortune and also his beloved dog Misty.
Caitlyn: it’s over I guess. *collapses on the couch*
Mitchie: *sits next to her*
Tess: *sits on the other side*
Guys: *standing there awkwardly*
Caitlyn: I guess I’ll pick up Misty tomorrow. Gosh this feels so unreal.
Nate: *kneels in front of her* hey… you always have us if you need to talk.
Caitlyn: *nods* thank you guys. I’ll move on. He was really sick. At least he isn’t suffering anymore.
Mitchie: *hugs Caitlyn* Caity…
Caitlyn: no. The sooner I learn to accept this the better. Maybe then we can all move on with our lives.
The group sat there. They hadn’t know each other that long but they could depend on each other that they knew.
