After a couple years away from Vancouver I decided to go back and give it another go, only this time with more locations, more motion, and an original soundtrack.

Please thumb up, subscribe, and pass along the video if you enjoyed it!

I wrote the soundtrack for this video. It's called "Don't Stop the Clock".

Specs:
- shot with a Nikon D300 and various lenses
- images were compiled into sequence with Adobe AE
- sequences were edited together in Apple Final Cut Pro
- close to 5000 still frames were used to create this film

Really enjoyed this one - especially liked the train journey. Editing is smooth and crisp and the music is catchy and it makes the whole thing that little bit more entertaining. This is how I want my time lapse movies to be.

out of curiosity what was the shutter speed of your camera for the skytrain pictures and how many frames/shots did you take per second to get a smooth look. Well done!!

    Shutter Speed: 1/6

    Aperture: F/16

    Focal Length: 20mm

    Interval: 1 photo per second

Thanks!! I wrote and recorded the song for this time-lapse. I'd be happy to send you the .mp3 if you'd like, just message me an email address and I'll send it along. I use Adobe After Effects to assemble the images into sequences, and then I edit the sequences together with the music in Apple Final Cut Pro.

Great job, love the time lapses and great track that you produced too. All works v well together. Makes me miss Vancouver alot..! It was my home for a year. I just got a new DSLR, hoping to use my Sigma 10-20 soon to attempt some time lapses, thanks for the inspiration boost
