An original song about the story of Beowulf. Everything was written, performed, sequenced, and recorded by me, with help for the chanting.

In the meadhall of Hrothgar
In a cold, snowy land
Their joyous celebrations
Torture to a dark face and clawed hand

This creature, Grendel, from haunted mere
Snuck out and had 30 for dinner
Twelve years of despair followed that
And Heorot's crowd grew thinner

They needed a hero
And so came

Tore off limb, cut off head

Attacked and burned by dragon's flame
Hot from the anger of a stolen cup
A poor slave was to blame

Home of the dragon and its hoard
He marched to end the killing
With the might of his own sword

When a hero was needed
