An original song about the story of Beowulf. Everything was written, performed, sequenced, and recorded by me, with help for the chanting.

Lyrics:
In the meadhall of Hrothgar
In a cold, snowy land
Their joyous celebrations
Torture to a dark face and clawed hand
This creature, Grendel, from haunted mere
Snuck out and had 30 for dinner
Twelve years of despair followed that
And Heorot's crowd grew thinner
They needed a hero
And so came
Chorus:
Beowulf
The heroic Geat
That brought the heat
To Grendel
Tore off limb, cut off head
And stabbed his mother dead
He saved the day
Beowulf
Handed head to the king
Back to Gotland the Geats sailed
With a bounty of gold-gifts
Against this demon they had prevailed
Gotland, led by the hero
Attacked and burned by dragon's flame
Hot from the anger of a stolen cup
A poor slave was to blame
Twelve he took with him to the cave
Home of the dragon and its hoard
He marched to end the killing
With the might of his own sword
When a hero was needed
Then came
Chorus:
Beowulf
The heroic Geat
That brought the heat
Back to the dragon
Traded a deadly bite
For the dragon's final night
He saved the day
Beowulf
(Beowulf chanting)
(Solo)
Beowulf
That heroic Geat
That found defeat
In that cave
On a gold-filled ship
He sailed for the next trip
He saved the day
Beowulf
Beowulf (repeat)
