Famous Israeli composer Rami Kleinstein returned as a top performer after years away from the limelight. He played a packed crowd at an open air concert given at the ancient Roman amphitheater of Cesarea on July 31st. He played hits including "Al Hagesher Hayashan" On the Old Bridge. Music critics raved about his return to his forte, as a traditional rocker, a great musician, composer, pianist and all round star. Klaynshtein who recently turned 40, delivered a master performance for two and a half hours to delighted and dedicated fans. He also played a duet with Daniel Salomon. Known as one of Israel's greatest composers, Rami Kleinstein has often been compared to Elton John. Like Elton John, Rami is known for his beautiful love songs, soothing voice and delicate piano-playing. Rami has had a very prolific career as both a composer and a performer. Rami was born in New York in 1962 and moved to Israel with his family in 1970. As a child, he studied piano and classical music with the famous Israeli music teachers, the Berenbaums.
