A Flame Table is an apparatus created by Dr. Harold Daw in 1984 for showing the eigen modes in fire. This is my version created to demonstrate sound visualization using fire. I am playing the song Slurpy, by Geoff Farina off of his album Blobscape. This song has plenty of pure tones at the resonant frequencies for this table. So during the song some of the eigen modes are expressed. So it sounds and looks great! I created this to show as part of a presentation for sound visualization.
