Journey into "The City By the Bay" -- without the hassle of stop-and-go traffic -- on board this 8-car San Francisco/Daly City train, as it departs West Oakland Station, heads through the Transbay Tube under San Francisco Bay, and arrives just minutes later at Embarcadero Station. West Oakland is BART's last East Bay station before the cross-bay trip into San Francisco, while Embarcadero is the transit agency's first San Francisco stop for all incoming trains from the East Bay. This clip, by the way, is the first-ever passenger video of this ride on YouTube.
Nov. 2011 update: the following link is a follow-up to this ride, but now features the Transbay Tube ride going out of San Francisco to Oakland.
