he didn't do it on purpose. he was trying to get to the front and just tryed to hard thats racing. the track been banked dose'nt help either

i was there that night it was a huge crash if it wasn't for that pole he would've ended up in the crowd.

He didnt do it on purpose at all, its clear to see the 8m of Geoff Fletcher moved out for some reason and Lance had nowhere to go...
