  • @ehyde0311 hey man i have an old system of alarm in my house, i want to know if i can get it connected by my selft, like make the alarm call me in case of activated

  • What can i say ADT sucks

  • @rdholland8811 it was the siren and theres a back up battery

  • if you have any further questions you can always call the monitoring center at 1 800 238 2727 their open 24 hours a day they can always assist you.

  • to reset it press the star button 2 times and then put the 4 digit code into the panel and press either the 1 button or the off button. if the power is disonnected the alarm system isnt going to be functioning. it does have a back up battery installed but you should have a metal box thats locked you would need to open that with the keys the installer gave you and unplug the transformer generally its screwed into the outlet. that will power down the system entirely.

  • considering this was 2 years ago im sure you resolved the issue by now. i work for ADT tech support. the alarm system isnt going off. the only way it would sound is if thethat are is an actual alarm. the alarm system is displaying the low battery for zone 50 and you said a low battery for 48 generally if multiple zones are displaying that can indicate a low battery from the keyfob. if you take that battery out for about a minute and then put it back in then rest the alarm from the keypad

  • With the power out the alram wouldn't sound....that box looked like your doorbell box....unplug your transformer!

  • all you need to do is reset the alarm, usually you do this by disarming it twice in a row, if that doesnt work call 1800-238-2727 and give them your system number, they will help you step by step, you can also power down the system by unpluging the transformer near the control panel and detaching one of the wires from the backup battery in the control panel (panel usually located in a basement or closet, somewhere difficult to access that still has an electrical outlet)

  • your panel is showing that your keyfob remotes have a low battery, remove old batts and let them sit out for 3-5 mins and put in new batts, although that beeping noise is not coming from the ADT alarm, best of luck to ya

  • Just replace the backup battery in the control panel its not hard to do but be careful and make sure to inhibit the zone tampers be for doing it cause it will trip the alarm and only ADT can knock it off!
