Shoe Watching - Changing From Gladiator Sandals to Black Pumps

In a recent shoe encounter, I met this woman outside her building where my local Starbucks is in the lobby. While sitting on the large marble planter outside drinking my coffee, she pulled a pair of classic black pumps out of her bag and set them on the ground. Before she could get too far into it, I commented how cool her gladiator style sandals were - and they were pretty cool.....strappy, with brass rivet details, and very cute! We talked shoes, great shopping finds, and the shoe watching channel. I have never been able to capture a woman changing shoes before or after work, so this was the BIG chance! She was wearing this blue cotton dress over a pair of calve length black tights and looked really cute! Both shoes worked well for her outfit. I appreciated the gladiator sandals and always have been a big fan of the classic plack pump for work. Enjoy this great view of the changing of her shoes into classic black pumps before work! This was a ton of fun!!!! :-) BIG kudos to this woman for great taste in shoes! I don't see any NYC women wearing nylons in the summer. Too hot! The calve-length tights seems to be a thing for the younger women, under very short cotton dresses/skirts or oversized t-shirts, for the more casual look.
