Surface deformation in the Alkmaar region, the Netherlands, observed by satellite radar interferometry.
A time history between 1992 and 2007 using the satellites ERS-1, ERS-2, and Envisat is used.
The subsidence (and uplift) is related to gas extraction (and injection).
