I finally thought it was time to bring my Kimber Pro Crimson Carry II in front of the camera to do a review. I have used, carried and tested this firearm extensively and think I have enough information and perspective to do a in depth and through review. Starting in September of 2009 I purchased this Kimber and ever since then I have been hooked. My shooting style immediately took to the 1911's grip angle and battery of arms. I found that only after a couple shooting sessions I had adapted to the Kimber well and could shoot it as well if not better than any other firearm. Kimber makes a quality product that is well worth the money. I would highly suggest the Kimber Pro Crimson Carry II for personal defense, CCW and the shooting sports! Enjoy.

  • Beautiful gun! How has it been firing? I am considering one and it would be my first 1911. It seems there are a lot of issues with them. thx

  • @ragtop91 I havent had any issues with it. It is a smooth and reliable shooter. Thanks for watching.

  • At what distance do you recommend adjusting your laser to? 50 feet?

  • @coachesviewproduct I would not go out any farther than 15-20 feet. If you adjust it to far out and plan on using it at that distance you are going to go to jail for murder... not self defense.

  • you say the overall is 7.7 from front of barrel to back of slide ? do you mean back of slide or back of the beaver tail ?

  • I have this gun. I love it! Still have some more braking in to do but it's a great gun. I will definitely buy another kimber. Thinking a custom raptor for the next one. I will not get another crimson trace gun. I would much rather just have night sights. Laser is a little bit of an overkill if you ask me.

  • Awesome.

  • it is a nice finish, however on the website it is listed as NOT kim pro II so you might want to double check that. thanks for the review

  • I purchased the Rock Island Armory 1911 tactical version, very nice gun, this seems like another nice 1911

  • @Shitraver VA

  • @Shitraver I have a CHP for my state also but anyone who does not have a permit must pay a $10 fee to get a background check done before they can purchase the firearm.

  • @Shitraver Yes. What state do you live in that does not have an application fee to do your background check?

  • Good point! Thanks for the reply. btw, I love my Kimber Pro Crimson also! Only have about 500 rounds through it and not a problem. Also using the Wilson Combat mags as you mentioned in your video. Awesome mags!

  • @blackquiver they sell them at Wanstalls in Maple Ridge, BC.

  • @Mainerism Yea. They are wearing off now.

  • It's 1yr old and you still have the laser stickers on it? lol

  • @edgedweapon88 ..yeah i know but cant find anny where i live..westen canada..asked what few supplyers where i live..and no ..same with the XDm..gant get it here ither..not sure y...but what ever..good vid latter

  • @blackquiver Wilson combat makes some nice 8 round mags.

  • not mine...its an 7 round....i have one 8 round meg from kmber...all the rest r 7...trying to fing a 8 round meg...

  • @bum813 yes very concealable that's why they call it the Kimber Pro Carry haha it has an aluminum frame which makes it significantly lighter as opposed to the 'usual' all steel frame on a 1911. and along with the very slim body of the 1911 single stack, this gun to me is an ideal carry pistol for daily use.

  • @hulkbuster1026 It cost $1300. Inherent accuracy is outstanding and personal accuracy is great for me. Accuracy of a firearm is always better than that of the shooter.

  • how much did that cost you? also how accurate is it and at what ranges

  • how much did that cost you

  • what brand is that Bore lock that you use.(not the free one) i like that chambered style lock.

  • @bum813 It could be. I use it for CCW on occasion (Mostly in the winter) when I have a jacket to make it conceal easier. I am a small framed person so it is hard to conceal larger firearms but it is certainly doable with the right holster.
