This video from a police car of the arrest of 42-year-old Derryl Jenkins contains strong language. The audio is from police radio and from a cell phone message left by Jenkins on a friend's phone. Video provided by attorney Paul Edlund.

Minneapolis Police Chief Tim Dolan said today he will ask the FBI to investigate an incident in which a squad car video captured police punching and kicking a man as they tried to arrest him in February after a stop for speeding.

Police are trained to take down a person. There is no reason for 5 police to take down 1 person. These cops just love to beat up people.

bottom line is he should have stayed in the car like told and yeah he did have his hands out not fighting back but he was resisting and he should have just got on the ground like told instead of trying to ask whats wrong...its only ovius that your going to get arrested so just get on your stomach get aressted and then you will find out what your getting arrested for

The only mistake he made was arguing, and 'then' getting out of the vehicle. The first part was rough, probably excessive, but thereafter is pure madness. The officers probably thought their fellow officer was in a fight to the death or something, and they lost their minds.

It's interesting how many people still think this is uncommon and blown out of proportion, many incidents aren't reported for fear of police retaliation, especially in absolutely horrible places, like Oakland and Miami.
