I'm getting a male parrotlet in 3 weeks...counting down the days. He's our first! He was raised with a lovebird and we are getting "it" too. We are thinking about names, getting cage ready and reading everything we can about parrotlets :)

Sorry to hear about ur loss of pizzapete. He was the cutest and the smartest parrotlet ever. If u don't mind, I am going to call my parrotlet which I'm getting in 3 weeks pizzapete. I just like the name so much.

Hey Gae! I am so sad about PizzaPete! And now PizziaPipn flew out the door?!?! Well I have a little boy named Harley. I forgot how old around 4 months. He is so smart! He combined two things I taught him to say. He sad Birdy Birdy Birdy Pretty Birdy.

I just paid $200.00 for mine . But can come cheaper if your lucky enough to find a breeder in your area .

I got my handtame handfed parrotlet from a breeder for 45$ The bird farm the next city over sells them for $75 for females and $90 for males. PetCo sells them for $150. That's all I know so far.

i have a 4 month old parrotlet, shes not talking yet tho, it might take longer, but its all about thier personality. what thing that does get my bird going is take a trash bag and shake it infront of him/her, they go crazy!

Hi there! What's your parrotlet's name? 4 month's is such a cute age, how old was she when you got her? Being a female, she may not talk much if at all. Are you sure she's a she? Is she a Pacific? Sorry I took so long to write...;-/ Gae & PizzaPete

Hiya Nut! Good seeing ya, good buddy. Dad is still learning how to use that danged camera but I'm really talking now! Wonder if they would let angel birdies do videos??? Pizzapete
