  • Protestantism is a heresy that needs to be put an end to. Why would God allow the Catholic Church exist for 200 years and yours suddenly sprung up 500 years ago....or for some denominations, last week?

  • it seems you are an advocate of the inquisition my friend. Would you like to see the inquisition return?

  • Excellent. Yes, we do seem to be returning to the Dark Ages. Oh that we would get men to stand up against the papal system again; men like Luther, Calvin, Knox, Huss etc.

  • elijahraven... thanks for your comment

  • Wow, what a beautiful and wonderful presentation Laz!!! Just inspiring as most is of everything you do. FYI, as the resident "chronologist", the 490 years for our time counted from 36 CE, which is 1506-1996 relates to Martin Luther's appearance c. 1506 and the Prostestant Movement, the rebuilding of the spiritual house in relation to the 490 years thus begins with the protestant movement. Thanks, again, for your vid!!! God bless. Lars

  • thankyou for again sharing your thought my friend

  • Ever thought that Catholicism was of the world..not of God? And the world was focused on the world at that hard time..until one man looks past the world..and look's up to God.

  • Faith: I can't see the wind, but I can feel the wind and see its affects. Just as I cannot see God, but I can feel Him, and see His affect.

I'm in the A/G faith. Assemblies of God. Newish..but Protestant.

  • Hmm...maybe because the Catholic Church became corrupt...maybe they did follow God, and their intentions were right for a while..but they turned astray. The Jewish people turned astray...why wouldn't God make a "new" religion, although not so new..as I am sure people practiced it..after Jesus had died on the cross, and broke the bonds. So that we do not have to make sacrifices...a switch from the old covenant to the new. Protestants, following the new covenant, and responding to it.

  • Luther wrote a lot of things I love these ...Martin Luther :

"Noblemen, townsmen, peasants, all classes understand the Evangelium better than I or St. Paul; they are now wise and think themselves more learned than all the ministers."

  • "This one will not hear of Baptism, and that one denies the sacrament, another puts a world between this and the last day: some teach that Christ is not God, some say this, some say that: there are as many sects and creeds as there are heads. No yokel is so rude but when he has dreams and fancies, he thinks himself inspired by the Holy Ghost and must be a prophet."

  • ``We are compelled to concede to the Papists that they have the Word of God, that we received it from them, and that without them we should have no knowledge of it at all

If the world lasts, it will be necessary, on account of the differing interpretations of Scripture which now exist, that to preserve the unity of faith, we should receive the [Catholic] councils and decrees and fly to them for refuge."
