I made pillows for the homeless and head wear to protect them from the cold. I brought cheap flannel fabric.

Let's not forget homeless pets..I've recently seen numerous amounts of homeless people with pets. Don't forget the innocent! Help animals that can't help themselves!

Great Idea, we use our resources in a more sparingly and useful manner and at the same time help the homeless,.....we've undergone some blanket and coat donations here in my vicinity, but i feel this is more SPECIAL,..because the quilts are made by the sole community, for poorer members of that regional area. Thumbs up to ya Threadbanger and thankin' uncumenical for the GREAT share! =)

I always want to give them an umbrella.
It seems like it would be warm to sleep under, even when it is not raining.
Like a mini-tent.
I'm glad they are handing out warm things.

Awesome idea
but what a weird video
it reminds me of the stay safe of the street videos we used to watch in elementary school.

I think this is a wonderful way to show love to our brother's and sister's who are less fortunate than we are. These are easy to make and a fun way to get together with your friends and do something productive. Thanks, Susie

this is great. when tieing the quilt layers if you do a running stitch. then cut them between then tie them it goes much faster.

I lead a group that makes these sleeping bags and I am proud of you guys! Thanks for all you do!

Yes, sometimes the pet is their only friend. Finally some homeless shelters are allowing pets and also helping with petfood.
very kitchy, neat idea though

yes very kitchy. the video made me laugh a bunch of times...especially the close ups of the quilters smiling and when they stole the tie from that guy. good info though.
