If you have an HP laptop/or any other laptop... These steps should be similar:

1. Go to the lower right hand corner and double click on the tiny screens.

2. Select connect.

3. Your computer will show all the networks nearby that it finds. If none show up, refresh so that it can search for some.

4. Look for one that is unsecured. If there aren't any, then try to crack their password. (This is extremely hard).

Remember-- Wi-fi runs around the perimeter of a building or whatnot. So, networks with the most bars will work best.

Your best bets in finding free internet, is in hot spots such as:

A. Libraries

B. Starbucks

C. Hospitals

D. Whole Foods

E. College Campus
