Originally created as a school project, "Anonymous" incorporates the moral ambiguity of a form of digital currency (Bitcoins) and its potential uses "Anonymously" in a commercial world.

Jesse Tressel, son of the late Jon Tressel creator of a new form of digital currency (Bitcoins), receives his inheritance of $1.7 Million in "Bitcoins". With this currency, anything can be bought in complete anonymity.

Jesse now has a choice to make. Will he squander the funds rapidly and indulgently? Or, will he save his newly acquired wealth, and wisely donate or invest the money into a good cause?

  • I really enjoyed this your camera work is BRILLIANT ! I love how in the newscast part after he mentioned the death, then you showed a shot of muted reporting brilliant man. Camera set ups were great, I can't say enough good about this. Good acting as well. Music was spot on. I am incredibly impressed. I loved this and enjoyed the hell out of it. Keep up the good work. please don't stop doing film your an inspiration for young filmmakers like myself. also, what camera did you film this in ?

  • @joshmcc18

Hey Josh, thanks for the encouraging critique! I used a Canon 60D for the entire film. The audio was captured with a Zoom H2 audio recorder directly "lined into" the camera's mic jack.

We used two lenses for the film: Canon 18-135mm IS and a Canon 50mm 1.8/f prime

The project was shot at 24 frames/second at a shutter speed of 1/40 as much as possible. In most cases, the aperture was adjusted for exposure; in some of the shots, the shutter speed is accelerated.

  • @JLMFilmProductions that's awesome ! I never thought to look at a 60D . . . I really have been looking for a new camera with quality like yours, but my price range isn't very high only about 650 could you recommend anything ?

    Josh

  • @joshmcc18 Yes actually. The t3i and the t2i are much cheaper alternatives which, if used correctly can achieve the same level of quality as the 60D. With those, you're looking at around 650 with a regular kit lens: probably the 18-55mm.
