  • For a band that didn't even know how to play their instruments when they started, how did they manage to come up with this highly musical, edgy razor sharp material? I would have loved to hear the conversations during their rehearsals. No one could do something like this today.

  • @reoreason Dennis Dunaway GREAT ROCK BASSIST!!!

  • @Superorchestra You are so right. Elected was a spin off of "Reflected" from Pretties for You.....neat song.

  • Im pretty sure they knew how to plat there instruments quite well when the recorderd there first albums. I mean "Prettys for You" and "Easy Action" have some pretty amazing songs on them, very skilled songs.

  • who the hell told ya they couldnt play...I heard that about the clash and the sex pistols...watch david bowie play d,c,g, a/minor on spiders from mars fukin simple.....just gotta rig it right and get some syllables.....kinda like rap....rap nigger music

  • @audiotrax2000 this song was their attempt to prove they could do more complex and progressive material, I'd say they succeeded.

  • Terrific fix on this . Ezrin helped but songs like Elected were written before he got there in the original group Spiders and The Nazz. These guys were talented from the start, This was no accident and Ezrin didn't create them. Muscle of Love was done without Ezrin and I love that album.

  • @GonzoGuyy: Me too. I was a huge Alice fan in high school during the 70's, but after he went solo, even when I was a kid I could tell all those studio session albums with hired players just fell flat. The chemistry was gone.

  • It was several songs that got fused together- the whole first side of 'Killer' kind of grabs you by the throat.

  • @audiotrax2000 I always attributed that to the fact that they came in with such a clean slate. I think Bob Ezrin had a pretty heavy hand in the composition too. Great stuff! Still stands up.

  • Amazing stuff when I was a kid. My grandparent from Austria thought less....! Thanks.

  • Superb! thanks for posting and correcting the pitch
