Gulf Oil Disaster Proof of Oil Rain in New Orleans

Just a week ago the new roof on the New Orleans Superdome was still white, however now it is covered in an oil sheen.
Numerous reports from many locations are coming in of acid rain that is affecting crops and plants.
Also, Louisiana residents are complaining that the water supply has been contaminated and they cannot drink the water.

Probably not oil but soot from ships burning oil off coast. Anyone who have lived near forest fires have probably seen black-sooty/oily rain come down.

Same type of black rain has been reported to commonly come down after large-scale bombings during WWII etc.

@Degnik If what you say is true about the soot,then you've admitted it's from the oil/corexit9500 mix.Soot is a byproduct of these things burnt and now they are even smaller particles that are able to travel with the weather systems and rain down on many thousands of acres of land/cities etc.

It's not good no matter how you label it,it's toxic and will be absorbed by the land,by our skin,by our foods for a long time.

What about the long term health of humans,animals and aquatic life not to mention the food crops? I seen a report that says corexit9500 is 25x's less toxic than dish washing liquid! If that's true then why have so many countries banned the use of corexit?
