  • As a mother of 3....I can tell you that trying to quiet a frightened child is VERY difficult. That being said....I also believe that children who frighten that easily, and have a set of lungs THAT powerful should be given a HARMLESS dose of Benadryl before the flight. Then you give them a pillow and a blanket....maybe a snuggly toy to cuddle.... and say NIGHTY-NIGHT!

  • OK, that's not a newborn... that's a child that's old enough to understand what it means to "swallow".
